Fly tipping continues to cause concern for residents of St Thomas’s Way, and once again the Parish Council has reported concerns to St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

The term Fly tipping does not only concern industrial waste or domestic refuse , appliances, kitchen units and brick rubble, but also garden waste such as tree, shrub, and grass cuttings.

The Parish Council can only report incidents on your behalf and express concern to the Borough Council, who are responsible for enforcement and they would be grateful for information regarding the identity of fly tippers.

At the end of the day there are three simple rules.

  1.  If you don’t want to get caught – Don’t do it
  2. If you want to stop fly tippers and deter others, report it
  3. Do not tamper with fly tipped waste – leave it for the inspectors.
